Women's football investment outpaces every other league globally

Commercial revenues across the Women's Super League grew faster last year than any comparable competition in any major sport globally, according to figures released by the league this week.

Sponsorship accounts for the largest share of the increase, but the most striking growth came from match-day income, which doubled at four clubs and trebled at one.

    What nobody is talking about is who actually benefits from all this. Follow the money and the picture becomes very different.
